TMC Dress Code

What is your dress code?

Hair

  • For ballet classes hair should be secured in a high bun.

  • For all other classes hair should be tied back in a ponytail or bun.
  • Or short and cut away from the face.

Ballet

  • Women / Girls

    • Leotard (color optional) and pink tights

    • skirt optional

    • pink ballet shoes
  • Men / Boys
    • dance pants or tights
    • TMC t-shirt
    • black ballet shoes
Jazz, Musical Theater, or Song & Dance
  • Tights or dance pants
  • leotard or TMC T-shirt (no bare midriffs)
  • black jazz shoes

Performing arts classes
  • shorts,
  • TMC t-shirt,
  • black jazz shoes or sneakers
Hip Hop

  • Dance pants or sweatpants (below the knee in length)
  • TMC T-shirt (no bare midriffs)
  • black jazz sneakers
  • knee pads

Tumbling

  • Dance pants or sweatpants (below the knee in length)
  • leotard or fitted T-shirt (no bare midriffs)
  • barefoot

Tap

  • Dance pants, sweatpants or tights
  • leotard or TMC T-shirt (no bare midriffs)
  • black tap shoes (child's shoe ribbons must be replaced with black elastic)
    • Movers, Shakers, and Little Warriors
    • Leotard
    • Tights (optional - footless or convertibles recommended as dancers need to be barefoot for tumbling)
    • Skirt (optional)
    • Tap and ballet shoes required.  Jazz shoes optional for Movers.
    • Boys - dance pants, TMC T-shirt and shoes
